Pan African Fashion Week is a dynamic platform that celebrates and promotes African creativity in the fashion and art industry. It is an extension of the successful House of Venus Fashion Show, which was established by David O. Awolesi. The House of Venus Fashion Show, a pioneering fashion initiative at Lagos State University, Ojo, has been instrumental in featuring models, emerging fashion brands, and various fashion aesthetics primarily owned by registered students from different tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

Driven by a passion for fashion and recognizing the need to nurture genuine talents in fashion styling and modeling, David O. Awolesi established the House of Venus Fashion Show. Inspired by its success, Pan African Fashion Week was created to expand the platform on a wider scale. This platform aims to empower Pan African fashion and art brands, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their unique perspectives and talents to a global audience.
